The Austrian soprano completed her Bachelor's degree in classical singing in
2023 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands) with Catrin Wyn
Davies. She is currently completing her Master's degree at the University of Music
in Würzburg (Germany) with Alexandra Coku.
Together with the Atzgersdorfer Männergesangverein 1880, Magdalena has
undertaken several concert tours to Tübingen (Germany), Sofia (Bulgaria) and
Sandfjord (Norway), where she sang various opera arias and ensembles as a
soprano soloist.
In April 2022, she sang the ‘First Israelite’ in the Netherlands in C. Ph. E. Bach's
The Israelites in the Desert under the baton of Paul Agnew together with the
Early Music Departments of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the Juliard
School of Music New York. In addition to two open-air operetta concerts on the
Hafnerberg, she also sang at the Baden Casino together with tenor Jörg
Schneider and the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra Zlin under the
direction of Norbert Pfafflmeyr.
A highlight of Magdalena's early career was the soprano solo in W. A. Mozart's
Requiem in the Great Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus under the direction of
Norbert Pfafflmeyr and with her colleagues Nina Edelmann (alto), Herbert Lippert
(tenor) and KS Wolfgang Bankl (bass) in November 2022.
Together with her Lied duo partner Jorn Quirijnen, she took part in the Udo
Reinemann International Masterclass in Brussels (Belgium) in 2022, where they
performed a large and varied Lied repertoire.
